The Keota boys basketball team (6-5) will be playing tonight for homecoming and will be looking to put a blemish to South Iowa Cedar League leader Belle Plaine who comes into town with an undefeated record (10-0).

Keota comes into this competition averaging 58.5 points per game. They have three players who average at least 10 points per game. Senior Nate Owen leads the Eagles with 19.1 points per game. Junior Zach Mousel averages 16.6 points per games and junior Isaiah Hahn averages 10.5 points per game.

The Plainsmen come into this game averaging 68.8 points per game. Belle Plaine has four players who average 13 points or better each game. They are led by senior Justin Jacobi with 15.2 points per game. Sophmore Bran DeMaulenaere averages 14.8 points per game and leads the team in free throw percentage at 84.2 percent. Junior Jacob Ehlen nets 13.7 points per game and senior Trey Squiers has 13.5 points per game on average.

Last time these teams met was earlier this season at Belle Plaine where the Plainsmen won a nail-bitter 55-54.
