Lone Tree is starting the new year back on the wrestling mat this weekend. The Lions have not competed since the Iowa City Regina Regional Tournament on December 20th.The only lion wrestler that placed in the top three in the invitational was Levi Tripses (126 pounds) Tripses took third place. Lone Tree is 2-2 so far this season in duels. The Lions will be competing in a triangular dual in Columbus Junction against Columbus Junction/ Winfield-Mt.Union and Camanche.
The wrestling meet will begin on Saturday at noon, in Columbus Junction.
