The Mid-Prairie wrestling team went north to a dual meet against Camanche Dewitt-Central. The Golden Hawks fell in the match up, losing the dual with a score of 49-24.
Mid-Prairie had success in the light weight classes with Duncan McCain (113) getting three points and Josh Murphy (120) getting six points with a fall. Between 126-170 pounds Mid- Prairie gave up 39 straight points.
The Golden Hawks finished strong in the heavier part of the weight classes. Visouth Peterschmidt (182) got six points with a fall. Cameron Tolander (195) recorded three points and Levi Duwa (220) won with six points with a forfeit.
Mid-Prairie falls to 8-5 in dual meets and will be back on the wrestling mat for the WACO Invitational on Saturday in Wayland.
