The Mid-Prairie girls’ basketball team is currently on a three-game winning streak and will be looking to make it four in a row as they resume River Valley Conference play tonight against West Branch.
On this three game stretch the Lady Hawks have scored an average of 52.6 points per game and only gave up 36 points per game. The Lady Hawks’ offense has spread the ball with 11 different players scoring in the last game. Mid-Prairie has also had time to prepare, not having played since last Friday against Wilton. The last time the Lady Hawks played against West Branch they had one of their lowest scoring performances of the year losing 47-28.
West Branch has a record of 8-4, but are currently on a two-game losing streak. The past two games on offense they have scored just 31 and 36 points.
