Projects being funded by last year’s bond issue will again be a topic of discussion at today’s Mid-Prairie School Board meeting. According to Superintendent Mark Schneider, the board might hear a recommendation from the construction manager on which bid for the middle school addition should be chosen. The addition will provide more space for the home school assistance program.

Schneider adds their architect is going to present design and development plans for the Kalona and Wellman Elementary School additions. He says if they’re approved by the board, the architect will start working on the construction documents so the projects can be put out for bid.
