The Mid-Prairie boys basketball team had a home game last night against Wilton in a River Valley Conference match up. It was game heard on AM 130 FM 102.5 and on KCIIradio.com Mid-Prairie will not find the win as they lose with a score of 59-37.
The Golden Hawks jumped out of the gate strong having the lead for descent amount of the first quarter and were only down by two after the first quarter with a score of 17-15. However, in the second and third quarter the offense and defense would falter with the offense only scoring 12 points during that span and giving up 30 points of defense. During the fourth quarter both teams had their bench players out on the floor to get varsity playing experience.
Mid Prairie’s Senior Devon Young scored eight points and Junior Nolan Faselt scored seven points. Mid Prairie who is now 0-10 in the season will travel to Fairfield to take on the Trojans on Monday. The game will start at 7:45 p.m.
