The Mid-Prairie wrestling team heads to West Branch tonight to compete in their first dual of the new calendar year.
The Golden Hawks will wrestle against West Branch and West Liberty. Mid-Prairie coach Justin Garvey says even though it has been difficult to prepare for a dual because of the practices being canceled due to the weather he is not making any excuses, “Kind of hard to prepare for a dual with not as many practices, but you have to know that everybody else is in the same boat we are, so we will just put our best foot forward and see what we can do.”
The Golden Hawks are 7-3 so far this season in duals. The Golden Hawks will wrestle tonight starting at 6 p.m. in West Branch.
