Nearly 100 gallons of milk, 1,500 pounds of sausage, 20 cases of pancake batter and 25 cases of eggs are on standby for tomorrow’s annual pancake day held by the Washington Fire Department. A lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with supper from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the fire department.

Tickets can be purchased in advance for $7 at the fire hall, Glandons Westside Service and Washington State Bank or at the door the day of for $8. Pancake Chairman Joe Redlinger said they are hoping for about 1,500 attendees tomorrow. Last year, between 1,500 and 1,600 people attended the event.
