Tuesday evening President Barack Obama gave the annual State of the Union Address. This was the sixth State of the Union Address delivered by Obama. He spoke of helping middle-class families, using military force against ISIS, lowering the cost of community college to nothing, a new Precision Medicine Initiative and more.

Senator Rich Taylor from Iowa District 42 shared he feels the president had some good ideas and proposals. Taylor also spoke with KCII about the first two weeks of Iowa’s legislative session including education and raising the minimum wage.
