This week in Mid-Prairie sports the Golden Hawk girls’ and boys’ basketball teams will travel to Durant on Tuesday in a Southeast Iowa Super Conference match up. The game will start at 6:30 p.m. starting with the boys’ game. On Friday, they will be back home in a non conference battle with Northeast Gooselake. The night’s competition will start with the girls playing at 6:15 p.m. You can catch the game between Northeast Gooselake and Mid-Prairie starting with the Washington Hy-Vee pregame show at 5:45 p.m. on AM 1380, FM 102.5 and on KCIIradio.com. On Saturday they will stay at home in a River Valley Conference game against Iowa City Regina. Game will start with the boys’ game at 4 p.m. with the girls’ game to follow. The Mid-Prairie wrestling team will travel to Northeast Gooselake High School in a tri-angular meet on Thursday at 6 p.m. Teams in the meet are Durant and Northeast Gooselake. On Saturday the Golden Hawks will travel to Cascade High School for the Conference Tournament. The tournament begins at 10 a.m.
