Lebowski’s Rock’ N Bowl in Washington is expected to be packed this afternoon for the Washington Demon girls’ and boys’ bowling teams’ (0-3 overall) first home meet of the season. The eight-lane bowling alley is set to host a Southeast Conference clash with the Mount Pleasant Panthers.

Bowling coach Deb Tisor says bowling competitions are more exciting than ones you see on television, “It’s not the quiet game where people just bowl one-on-one.” Tisor says, “This is six kids bowling against six kids and it gets loud in here. It is like going to a basketball game, it’s like going to a football game. Don’t expect it to be a quiet place because it roars with excitement.”

The Mount Pleasant girls’ bowling team comes in with a record of 4-2 overall and is bowling a team average score of 2403. The Panther boys’ bowling team is one of just nine undefeated teams left in the state, winning their first six meets with an average score of 2,958.

The Washington Demon girls’ team is bowling an average score of 1901 points, while the boys’ team is posting a 2338 average score per match. The meet between the Washington and Mount Pleasant’s bowling teams is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. at Lebowski’s Rock’ N Bowl.
