The Highland Huskies (13-6) and WACO Warrior girls’ basketball teams (11-6) will face off for the second time this season in a Southeast Iowa Super Conference North Showdown in Wayland tomorrow night.
Last time these teams met was a thrilling game. Highland won on a buzzer beater three-point shot by sophomore Kelsey Hora. Since then Highland has struggled going 2-4 since that match up. WACO has won four of their last five games.
The Huskies come into this game averaging 50.7 points per game. Highland has three players who average at least 10 points per game. Senior Chelsey Lampe averages 11.8 points and 8.3 rebounds per game.
Senior Aaliyah Brown leads the Warriors and averages 11.8 points per game and averages 5.9 rebounds per game.
The game will take place tomorrow night at 6 p.m. in Wayland.
