It was a tall order for the Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks (1-17) as they played at home on Saturday against a 15 win team in Iowa City Regina (16-1). Mid-Prairie would lose to their River Valley Conference opponent with a score of 60-22.
Mid-Prairie had trouble getting anything going offensively, scoring just 14 points in the first half and were down at halftime 31-14. In the second half Mid-Prairie was outscored 29-8. Iowa City Regina had two players score at least 17 points each in the game.
