Legislative Briefing in Washington Tomorrow

The second Legislative Briefing of 2015 will be held tomorrow. Four area legislators are expected to attend, including: Representative Jarad Klein (R) of House District 78, Representative David Heaton (R) of House District 84, Senator Rich Taylor (D) of Senate District 42, and Senator Kevin Kinney (D) of Senate District 39.

Each legislator will give opening remarks and then the four will answer questions from constituents in the audience. At last month’s briefing, education funding, mental health care, the school calendar, and the gas tax were among the topics of discussion.

Tomorrow’s briefing hosted by the Washington Chamber of Commerce will be held from 10 a.m. to noon at the Washington County Courthouse.
