A water main in Riverside has been repaired and the first water sample is now being tested by the State Hygienic Laboratory. According to City Administrator Rusty Rogerson, the broken water main was discovered Tuesday morning at around 11 a.m. Repairs were made yesterday after the leak was found. The city has declared an advisory water boil statement for the 100 and 200 blocks of North Green Street, between Highway 22 and 3rd Street. The statement means boiling water is not mandatory, but is recommended for that area. A second water sample will be taken today.
