For the last two weeks, the Washington Demon boys’ and girls’ bowling teams have enjoyed home lane advantage at Lebowski’s Rock ‘N Bowl. The teams will enjoy the short trip to Washington’s bowling alley for one more week as the Demons host the Fairfield Trojans for a Southeast Conference battle.

Last weekend, Washington entertained Keokuk in a conference clash. In the boys match, the Demons lost overall 2522-2404 to the Chiefs, while the girls fell 2482-2109. Sophomore Jon Graff had his season-high game score of 213 in his first game of the day. Senior Ivy Hamilton had her season-best game as well, scoring a 221 in her second round of competition.

The Fairfield Trojans took the first meeting between the schools at Flamingo Lanes in Fairfield. In the boys matchup, the Trojans won the overall meet 2625 to 2326. The Demons lost the first round 1798 to 1526 and the second round 827-800. In the girls’ contest, Fairfield won the overall competition 2517 to 2083. Washington fell in the first round 1695 to 1435 and lose round two 822-648.

The varsity girls’ and boys’ bowling meet between Washington and Fairifeld is set to begin at 2 p.m. at Lebowski’s Rock ‘N Bowl in Washington.
