The Winfield-Mt. Union Wolves (13-9) will be looking for a sectional victory tonight in Wayland as they take on the Holy Trinity Crusaders of Ft. Madison(15-7).

The Wolves come into this game following a defensive battle against Pekin (8-13) where they won at home, 48-41.

W-MU and Holly Trinity played each other earlier in the month with the Crusaders pulling off the victory at Winfield 50-38. In that game the Wolves had a 10 point lead going into halftime, 25-10. However, they fell apart and were outscored by the Crusaders 35-12 in the second half.

The Wolves come into this match-up averaging 52.3 points per game. They have three players who average in double figures. Junior Sam Jennings leads the team with 13.2 points per game on average. Junior Garret Baker averages 12.4 points and Zack Davis scores 11.8 points per game.

The Crusaders are led on offense by senior Blake Hellwig who averages 16 points per game and is shooting 55.3 from the field.
