An investigation has led authorities to search a New London home for the second time in less than a year.On Wednesday, the Henry County Sheriff’s Office and New London Police Department searched a home located at 401 North Poplar Street. A narcotics investigation and information alleging there was prostitution taking place at the residence led to the search, which resulted in the arrest of the home’s occupants.
Twenty-four-year-old Cigi Bowman is charged with prostitution and possession of methamphetamine, crack cocaine and marijuana. Twenty-two-year-old Trevor Milligan, who had an active arrest warrant for eluding his probation, is charged with possession of marijuana with intent to deliver. Both are charged with gathering where controlled substances are unlawfully used. Bowman is being held at the Henry County Jail. Milligan has been transferred to the Washington County Jail.
The New London home was searched in May of last year, where Bowman and two others were found manufacturing methamphetamine.
The Henry County Probation & Parole and the Iowa Department of Natural Resources also assisted with the investigation and execution of the search warrant.
The defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
