The champions of Southeast Iowa Super Conference North had four of their five starters to named the boys’ all-conference squad by coaches of the league.

Among the selections for the Lone Tree Lions was senior guard Nick Viner and sophomore guard Jovonte Squires as unanimous first team all-conference selections. Viner was the team’s leading scorer with 347 total points, and made a team-high 36 three point baskets this season. Squires finished second on the team in scoring with 319 total points, and had a conference leading 143 assists, 20 more than any other player in the SEISC North.

Senior forward Matt Wieland was a unanimous second team all-conference choice for the Lions. Wieland was grabbed 180 total rebounds this season, the fourth best in the SEISC North. He was also fifth in the conference with 28 blocks.

Senior guard Thomas Viner and senior reserve guard Erik Murray were named as honorable mention selections by the SEISC North coaches.

The Lone Tree Lions ended the season with an overall record of 19-5, the outright champions of the Southeast Iowa Super Conference North.
