One Iowa Mennonite School senior will continue her basketball career after high school. Riley Schmeider will be playing college basketball at Bethel College.

IMS girls’ basketball coach Aaron Gingerich explains more about the college Schmeider will be attending, “Bethel College is a Mennonite school out in Kansas, part of the NAIA Division II Association, there are a lot of good players over there and she will be challenged at that level. It will be a chance for her to grow in her skills and keep developing, which will be fun to watch.”

Schmeider led the team in scoring with 13 points per game and was named Second Team All Conference.
