We’re in the midst of Teen Tech Week in the United States. The goal of the American Library Association’s Teen Tech Week is to showcase the non-print resources and services available to teens and their families.

The Kalona Public Library has no shortage of those resources on their website, Kalona.lib.ia.us. According to Kalona Library Director Ann Skaden, anyone with a Kalona, Washington or Wellman library card can check out digital books by downloading them to their computer or compatible device. Those with a card at one of those libraries also have access to digital versions of over 130 magazines. Skaden explains all you have to do is create an account to permanently download the magazines to your device.
