Over $3,000 in donations were acknowledge by the Washington County Board of Supervisors yesterday for the sheriff’s K-9 program fund. Auditor Dan Widmer announced the following donations: $25 from Michelle Kempf, $50 from David Nielsen, $200 from Mike Van Osdol, $300 from Larry Brenneman, $550 from Central State Bank and $2,000 from Farm and Home Security Mutual Insurance Association.

The board also passed a resolution in support of the sheriff’s office seeking a Washington County Riverboat Foundation for the K-9 program for $42,000 with the sheriff’s office offering half of the cost in matching funds.
