The Lone Tree girl’s basketball team had one player recieve All Regional Honors for her efforts this season. Sophomore Madison Forbes was named to the Region Six All Regional Team thanks to the Iowa High School Coaches Association. Lone Tree finished the season with a 8-14 record and lost in the first round of the postseason to Sigourney, 40-34.

Forbes was the leading scorer for the Lions, accumulating 227 total points and averaging 10.3 points per game. She also led the team in field goal percentage with 36.9 percent. She also led the team in steals with 57 total.

Forbes was also selected to the Southeast Iowa Super Conference North Second Team All-Conference.
