A principal in the Washington Community School District has been nominated for a state award. Washington Middle School Principal Curt Mayer has been notified that he is being interviewed as a finalist for the Middle School Principal of the Year in the state of Iowa. Superintendent Dr. Mike Jorgensen shares congratulations and states it is a “big honor and well deserved.”
