Twenty-nine-year-old Trumaine Hatchett of Mount Pleasant is facing several charges in connection with the incident, including three felonies; attempted murder, intimidation with a dangerous weapon, and possession of a firearm by a felon.

Around 9 p.m. Monday, the Mount Pleasant Police Department received a report of gunshots at the Chesapeake Apartment Complex on Palm Street. According to the police department, officers found broken motor vehicle glass and empty shell casings in the driveway leading out of the parking lot.
