Graduation for area high school seniors is less than two months away. Tera Pickens, director of the Kirkwood Washington Regional Center, says they are encouraging seniors to apply for next year’s college courses and scholarships. She adds now is the time for underclassmen to register for academies at the regional center for the fall term.

The regional center has partnered with six area school districts to offer concurrent courses for high school students, which allows the students to take college level courses at no cost to them or their families. The students are able to enroll in a variety of academies.
