The Keota Eagle basketball team will have at least one senior going on to play college ball next year. Nate Owen who played guard for the Eagles will be playing for Waldorf College next season.

Owen was a First Team All-Conference Player for the Eagle’s basketball team this year. Owen led the conference in points per game with an average of 20 points per game. He was a beast on the boards with 240 total, second in the conference. He also led the team in total assists with 95.

Waldorf College is home of the Warriors and is a new member of the North Star Athletic Association. The college is located in Forest City.

The Eagles ended their season 12-10 in the first round of the postseason.
