This weekend Daylight Saving Time will be observed. At 2 a.m. Sunday clocks will jump forward an hour for Daylight Saving Time.

Ten years ago, under the Bush administration, an energy policy was enacted that extended the Daylight Saving Time period by four weeks, moving the beginning to the second Sunday of March and ending the first Sunday in November each year.
