The next class in a series designed to get the area’s youngest learners interested in science, technology, engineering and mathematics, or STEM, is being held tomorrow. The STEM Wonders sessions for preschoolers began in January at the Marr Park Conservation Education Center. The STEM Wonders sessions are funded by the Governor’s STEM Advisory Council and sponsored by the Washington County Conservation Board.

This month’s program is focused on weather. Naturalist Pam Holz leads the classes. She says the children will learn about rainbows, tornadoes, thunderstorms, and create snow.

Tomorrow’s program for three through five-year-olds and their parent or guardian begins at 10 a.m.
