Approximately a quarter of an inch of rain has fallen in Washington so far this week. According to the National Weather Service, three-tenths of an inch of rain has been observed in Washington so far this month. The normal amount of precipitation for the first 24 days of March is 1.86 inches.

Total snowfall has also been below the normal 1.9 inches, at just two-tenths of an inch so far this month.
