Tomorrow adults in the area are invited to attend a free access to health clinic in downtown Washington. The wellness event will include a variety of screenings including cholesterol, bone density and body composition testing. Ben Urick, who is helping organize the event, states the goal of the clinic is to provide services for those in the community who haven’t seen a doctor in some time and use this information to help make health decisions.

Robert Nichols adds those conducting the screenings have done so at similar clinics in Johnson County. There will be a Spanish translator on site.

The clinic will be held Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Washington Public Library and registration is not needed.
