A free mental health clinic is coming to downtown Washington. Bobbie Wulf, Washington County Mental Health and Disability Services Coordinator, made the announcement at yesterday’s Washington County Board of Supervisors meeting. She explained the center will have evidence and peer based programs, with the goal of helping individuals in the community resolve issues before hospital level of care is needed.

First Resources will be providing the services and it is slated to pen next month, but an exact date has not been set yet. The center will be free to clients, as it is funded by the mental health region and Washington County.

KCII News will bring you more information as it becomes official.
