Red Flag warnings for dangerous fire weather conditions were issued Wednesday afternoon and early evening for Washington and the area. So far this week seven grass fires have been reported and extinguished by area fire departments in Washington County. A Red Flag warning is issued by the National Weather Service when there is dry vegetation, strong winds and low relative humidity values. Yesterday temperatures reached a high of 80 degrees.
