Iowa Mennonite School’s new principal will assume the role August 1st.Chair of the IMS Operating Board, Galen Graber, announced Tuesday that Stephen Schrag had been selected for the position.

Schrag has served as principal at a christian school in Pennsylvania for the last eight years. He grew up in Minneapolis, went to Goshen College in Indiana and received his Master of Education degree from Penn State University in 2013.

Schrag replaces Timothy Lehman, who has been principal since July 1st of 2014.  According to Graber, Lehman is resigning so he can be closer to his family in Indiana.
