Handprints and flowers are some of the subjects that can be seen on display at the Washington Public Library. Jolisa Weidner, children’s librarian, explains the special exhibit displays artwork created by children at area preschools and child care centers.

The special exhibit is in honor of the Week of the Young Child. Weidner adds when people can check out the gallery during the library’s regular hours in the Helen Wilson Gallery on the second floor.
