The Mid-Prairie boys’ (3-3) and girls’ (3-2) soccer teams competed at home yesterday.

The boys took on Highland (6-3) and recorded the victory with a score of 3-1. Three different Golden Hawks seniors scored: Jordan Ulin, Matt McGaffey and Anthony Gingerich. Sophomore goal keeper Nathan Reed had six saves to finish out the contest.

The boys will next compete in Williamsburg (3-2) on Thursday.

The girls had a tough time against the No.2 ranked Regals, losing with a score of 10-0. The lost snaps a three-game winning streak for the Golden Hawks.

The girls are on the road today to take on Burlington Notre Dame (5-0). The game will start at 5 p.m.
