The Mid-Prairie girls’ and boys’ golf teams are starting off the week with dual meets against the Iowa City Regina Regals.

The girls will be on the road against the Regals. The girls’ last meet was last Tuesday in a triangular meet, where they were fell to both Washington (183) and Columbus (211). Mid-Prairie scored a season low in the event with 222 points.

Junior Allyson Wertz has led the Golden Hawks in scoring throughout the season. Averaging a score of 45 for nine holes. The match will begin at 3 p.m. in Iowa City.

The Mid-Prairie boys will be at home when they take on Regina. Sophomore Duncan McCain has led the team in scoring so far this season averaging 50 points strokes per nine holes.

The match will take place at 4 p.m. today the Kalona Golf Club.
