The Mid-Prairie golf teams competed in a triangular with Washington and Columbus at the Cedar Crest Country Club Tuesday.

The girls had a tough day as they would finish third scoring 222. Washington posted a team score of 183 to win the meet with Columbus scored a 211.

Junior Allyson Wertz had the low round for the Golden Hawks with 44, which also placed her third in the individual race. Sophomores Lindsey Palmer shot 58, Olivia Nisly a 59, Cassidy Bender and feshman Paige Slabaugh each shot a 61 and sophomore Tiffany Fisher rounded out the scoring with 79.

The Golden Hawks will next golf against Iowa City Regina on Monday at the Kalona Golf Club.
