The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk boys’ golf team participated in an 18 hole invitational yesterday at the West Liberty Country Club. Mid-Prairie had their best nine-hole performance as a team with a score of 189 for the front nine and a season low 18 hole team score of 381.

Sophomore Seth Mann lead the way shooting 45, 44 for an 89 which tied him for 22nd out of 66 golfers. Sophomore Duncan McCain shot 45, 50 for a 95, followed by sophomore Zach Owens with rounds of 51 and 46 for a 97. Freshman Michael Callahan rounded out the scoring shooting 48, 55 for a 103. Freshmen Collin Ginger and Ryan Slaubaugh shot personal bests of 52, 53 for 105 and 55, 52 for 107 respectfully.

Mid-Prairie will next hit the golf course tomorrow in a dual meet versus Wilton at the Kalona Golf Club.
