Mid-Prairie Heads North For Battle Against the Raiders

The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk boys’ soccer team (3-3) will try to come away from tonight’s match with a winning record as they head north to take on the Williamsburg Raiders (4-2).

Mid-Prairie is coming off of a win at home Monday against Highland (5-3) with a score of 3-1. The Golden Hawks are led by senior Jordan Ulin with five goals so far this season. Senior Anthony Gingerich has three goals and leads the team in shot on goal percentage at 75 percent.

Williamsburg is coming off of a win Tuesday against Center Point Urbana (2-5) with a score of 6-0. Juniors Allyn Francis and Miguel Sanchez both have six goals on the season to lead the team. Junior Trevor Harris has 47 saves so far this season with a save percentage of 86 percent.

The game will begin at 5 p.m. today at the Williamsburg Athletic Complex.
