Nearly an inch of rain has fallen in Washington the first week of April. According to the National Weather Service, 0.83 inches is normal and 0.94 inches of precipitation has been recorded in Washington so far this month. The average temperature has been nearly five degrees above the normal, recorded at 51.4 degrees.

While Washington is on par for precipitation in April, so far this year only 3.67 inches has been recorded, below the normal 5.75 inches.
