A new project is underway at the Washington Public Library to record the stories of Washington residents and share them with the community. Director of the library, Debbie Stanton, explains the idea is to record an oral history of the community. Also, the project will fit into the summer reading them of “Superheroes” by speaking with local heroes, or a hero in your life. People can now sign up for times to record. Stanton’s husband, Ben, has volunteer to record the stories.
