Area high school students and their parents are invited to learn more about what career opportunities are available locally. Alicia Harper with the Workplace Learning Connection explains there will be representatives from several businesses at booths to speak with students about career options from agribusiness to education to the military. She encourages any area high school students to attend, not only those in the Washington School District. Harper adds the aim of the event is for students to start looking at their futures.

The career fair will be held at the Washington High School Monday from 5 to 7 p.m. For more information about the event and to hear more about what Workplace Learning Connection provides listen to today’s Washington Page.
