The new water tower, storm sewer work, residential zoning code changes and council rules of procedure will be discussed at tonight’s Washington City Council meeting. Notices of hearing and letting for the north water tower and North 6th Avenue storm sewer will be considered.

Also, the council will revisit the chapter 165 residential zoning code amendments, which was initially tabled at the March 10th meeting. Complaints came to the council following the construction of a non-traditional residence on West Jefferson in respects to residential character. In March, Matt Greiner, president of Greiner Buildings, ask that planning and zoning review the issue before passing regulation for the entire city. For the full code click here.

Tonight’s meeting begins at 6 p.m. in council chambers.
