Members of the Kalona Rotary Club will be preparing omelets and raising money for a new Kalona Elementary classroom tomorrow morning. According to Dr. Chris Grier, the club’s vice president and chairman of the annual event’s organizing committee, they chose to donate the proceeds from this year’s breakfast to the outdoor classroom project.

He says assistance from local businesses help make the annual breakfast possible. Farmers’ Hen House provides the eggs, Kalona Supernatural donates the dairy products, Cheryl’s Salsa supplies salsa, Kalona Bakery makes the cinnamon rolls, and the rest of the ingredients come from JW Foods.

The breakfast is being held from 6:45 to 10:30 a.m. tomorrow morning at Kalona United Methodist Church.
