After breaking a four-game losing streak beating the Mediapolis Bulldogs (1-8) on Saturday 4-0, the Iowa Mennonite School boys’ soccer team (3-4) will look to get their record back to .500 as they head to Danvile (6-0) to take on the No.6 ranked Bears.

IMS has socred 28 goals this season, good enough for second in the Southeast Iowa Super Conference North. Nearly half of those goals belong to senior Danny Lam who has scored 13 goals total this season. Goalkeeper senior Kobi Russom comes into this match with a 77 save percentage.

IMS will have to find a way to score against a Bears team that has only given up five goals all year. The Bears have two athletes who have scored at least 15 goals. Junior Mason Lober has 17 goals and sophomore Kole Perkins has 15 goals scored this season. The Bears’ goalkeeper, senior Sam Banks, has an 84 save percentage.

The game will begin at 5 p.m. today at Danville High School.
