The Iowa Mennonite School boys’ soccer team (4-7) will look to find the back of the net on offense as they head to Central Lee (1-10) to take on the Hawks today.

IMS has had trouble getting the ball into the net. Scoring just one goal in the past two games and going 0-2 during the stretch. Senior Danny Lam leads the team in goals with 13 goals, but hasn’t scored since their last win against Mediapolis (1-9) on May 9th. Senior goalkeeper Kobi Russom saves 77 precent of the shots taken on his goal.

In the Hawks’ last five games, they have given up 26 goals while scoring just one goal. On offense Central Lee is led by junior Bryce Fowler with three goals on the season. Senior goalkeeper Dustin Schrader is four saves away from 100 saves and has 70 percent save rate.

Both teams  lost to Holy Trinity (10-3) last week, with IMS losing 2-1 and the Hawks getting shut out 2-0.

Tonight’s game will take place at 5:30 p.m. at Central Lee High School.
