The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk baseball (1-2) went to Highland last night in a non-conference match up with the Huskies (1-2) .
The Golden Hawks bats came alive their first win of the season 10-2.

Mid-Prairie batted 11 hits. In the victory senior Jackson Yoder went 3-3 at the plate with a double. Junior Adam Schrock also had a double at the plate.

Yoder stated on the mound for the Golden Hawks, earning the win.

Mid-Prairie improves their overall record to 1-2 in the season and heads to Iowa City on Monday to take on the Regals in a conference double header match up.

Highland travels to Columbus Junction on Monday to take on the Wildcats.
