The Mid-Prairie girls’ soccer team (4-5) now knows who they will be playing in the first round of the postseason. The Golden Hawks will face off against the Columbus Wildcats (3-8) in Wellman on June 2nd in the first round.

These two teams have already played each other once this year. The Golden Hawks came away with a 1-0 victory against the Wildcats at Columbus Junction last month. In that game, Ashley Miller scored the lone goal. so far this season Miller leads the team with eight goals on the season. Senior goalkeeper Cassidy Bontrager has a 76 save percentage.

Columbus has six different athletes who have scored at least two goals this season. Senior goalkeeper Julissa Ramirez has a 68 save percentage.

The Golden Hawks have three more games left before the start of the postseason, while Columbus has five games left in the regular season.
