Over two inches of rain has been recorded in Washington the first 10 days of May. The normal amount is 1.52 inches, and 2.11 has been observed. On Sunday, two-tenths of an inch of rain was observed in Washington. More rain is expected Thursday and Friday.

So far this year, 7.87 inches of precipitation has been recorded, while the normal amount is 9.7 inches.
